After completing the Level 1 Prarambhik course and Method Book 2, your child is ready to take the next step by preparing for the BSPM Level 2 certification exam – Praveshika Pratham

In this course, students explore Geetams—simple yet melodic songs—and Swarajathis, which convey emotions of devotion and love. They also study timeless compositions by legendary musicians such as Purandara Dasa and Tyagaraja, alongside nottuswaras, devotional songs, and folk melodies, diving deeper into the rich traditions of Carnatic music.

Through Geetams, students are introduced to new ragas beyond Mayamalavagoula and practice them in various talas. Swarajathis further enhance their learning with multiple sahityas, helping them express emotions like love and devotion. By mastering these forms, students develop a solid understanding of the ragas and talas required at this level.

This course also broadens their repertoire beyond classical music, as they learn devotional songs, folk melodies, and nottuswaras, improving their vocal modulation and emotional expression.
