About The Course
The Rockschool Keyboard Grade 2 exam is ideal for students with 12 to 18 months of playing experience. This level builds upon the foundational skills acquired in Grade 1, introducing fresh techniques, rhythms, and deeper musical concepts. It also offers a valuable chance to refine improvisation abilities, a key aspect of musicianship.
In the exam, students will perform three pieces by renowned artists like Kate Bush, Nina Simone, and Pharrell Williams. They will also showcase keyboard-specific skills, including single patch settings, layering, and sound effects manipulation, such as pitch bending.
