About The Course
Attention parents! Is your child a rising star on the keyboard who has been practicing for six months to a year? If so, the Trinity Keyboard Grade 1 exam could be the perfect next step! By this stage, they’ve built on their foundational skills and are ready to tackle more advanced techniques, rhythms, coordination, and musical expression.
During the Grade 1 exam, your child can shine by performing three pieces of their choice, such as Pastoral (theme from Symphony No. 6), Whirling Dervishes, or English Country Garden. They’ll also demonstrate their ability with keyboard-specific techniques, including single patch settings, layering, and sound manipulation effects like pitch bend.
